MORE ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop requires no prior skills and will introduce you to the ancient Turkish art of paper marbling from scratch, a technique that’s over 500 years old. In this relaxing, meditative experience, you’ll learn to paint on water’s surface using natural materials and transfer your designs onto paper.

The workshop can be arranged as a pop-up at a location of your choice, agreed upon beforehand. The session lasts 2 hours. While I’ll guide you throughout, you’ll have the freedom to experiment and let your imagination flow as you create your own artwork. You’ll have unlimited attempts during the session and can keep everything you paint. For an additional fee, I also offer the option to create a company art piece using the individual works created during the workshop.

The only requirement is to bring yourself with enthusiasm and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty—if you can, otherwise, I have aprons for everyone! I can assure you, it’s truly a meditative experience painting on the water’s surface.

PREPARATION

I will provide all the tools, set up the tray and fill in the water upon arrival to the location. The handmade paint and water mixture will be prepared in advance. I will need about 1 hour before the scheduled start time to set up the workshop at the pop-up location, and approximately 1 additional hour after the workshop to clean up and pack down.

TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR POP-UP WORKSHOP

As the cost of travel may vary depending on the location, travel expenses for setting up the pop-up workshop will be fully covered by the company booking the event, in addition to the set booking fee. CANCELATION POLICY

Materials used in the workshop require at least 2 days of preparation, so cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If canceled after this time, the full price of the workshop will be charged.
